I typically am. I try to be aware of what is going on at all times. In the office, on the road, at home, or just walking around. This world is too dangerous to be totally oblivious to the goings on around us.

Usually. It comes from a series of bad experiences. I make it a point to identify all my surroundings and be aware of potential threats and opportunities.
I like being in a secure environment.

I live in the Metropolitan New Orleans area and with the crime rate around here you had better be aware of your surroundings. H*ll, I don't even trust the New Orleans Police Department.

I am known for being in my own little world a lot of the time- but I am trying to be more aware. With children, you have to be aware- what they are saying, what they are doing, subtle behavior changes. I think all of us need to be more aware of all things.

I try to be when I am alone but when I am with my husband I dont need to be. He is very protective and has to be able to know whats going on at all times. He always has to sit against the wall and facing the door so he can see everything coming and going

Actually, very aware. Especially while driving and in restaurants. people ask did you see that? Of course I did. Cool cars on the opposite side of the freeway, yes I saw those too...
