secondary school science teacher needs help with project?

please can you help me, i need to come up with an idea for an innovativ science/engineering project. I can apply for a budget of up to £3000 with 8 top students (12 year olds) Thanks

have u ever tot of xtracting electricity with fruits, i did it once for my engineering project.. took about a kg of fruits to light up a bulb for a min..if u know how to do it
