If men know they are considered slow bloomers then why doesn't that thought provoke them to step their game up? What is the difference between what men and women want out of life?

I believe it goes back to the beginning of time. Women are the ones who took care of the children while the men took time trying to propagate the species with other women. That hasn't changed, except the fact that they would get in trouble for having another child with some other woman. Also the men spent their days hanging with the other men and hunting animals--probably competing to who could get the biggest game, etc.. Women had to be the mature ones early on because they had more responsibilities. What competition did the women have time for? Seeing how big their child would get and how fast? Women didn't have time for that because they had to make sure that the kids did, in fact, grow up. That hasn't really changed that much.

Women generally to mature faster, I don't think a male really has control over it and can just "step his game up" Man are just like women, at least eventually, they want to be in a intense loving sexual relationship.

Maturity, believe it or not begins with puberty. Puberty changes your mind as well as your body. Women simply begin and end puberty much earlier than men. Men take a little longer than women. It natures way of giving us women power for the younger years of our life. lol jk.

Genetics, biology and the general evolution of life. Women are able to cope with more emotional things while men are able to cope with more physical things. That's the way we were made and it's always better to celebrate and intergrate differences rather than use them against each other.

Some of it can be explained by the differences and timing of hormones. The rest is socialization and can be changed.

young women mature faster, so are more attracted to older men... :D then when women get older, they prefer younger men... we get all the fun all the time... :D
