i am going through the same thing right now. I dated a guy for two years and he cheated on me and hurt me pretty badly. However I have just met this guy and the way he approached me intrigued me. I expressed to him that i fear getting into another relationship. However he is being patient with me. It takes a lot of soul searching and commitment to finding happiness again throughout all the pain. I have to open my mind to the fact that not all men are dogs and whoreish and that there are men out there that truly want to commit themselves to meeting that special someone in their lives feel special and loved

Good timing. I'm trying to do it right now. With her I've never felt as deeply or as completely for anyone before. She found feelings in me I never knew I was capable of feeling. Then, I lose her. here I am. It's the worst pain and sense of loss I've ever felt before. Time helps. It allows me the opportunity to look at my own sefl-worth. I look at the person I am and what I can do. The potential I have and the love I have to give. If anything, she's taught me how to be perfect for the one woman who will see what I have to offer and take it for hers. Every relationship is an awesome learning experience. Just take what you've learned and try again. It beats being alone. With as much as you have to offer another, and life never being anything close to certain or long lasting....there's no time like the present. Take time out to reflect and recent yourself. Separate yourself from your past coed identity...regain yourself and move foreward. Takes courage to get back up. Do you have it in you?

good therapy, journal/diary, spend time on you: doing stuff for yourself, making choices based on you alone- no one else! Make friends, get a hobby, go out and take a class that you might not have ordinarily taken (ex: kick boxing, karate, jazz dance...) But most importantly, don't deny your feelings. If you need to cry or be angry, then do it. You need to feel what you feel. Time will heal you and you will eventually be able to get passed this!!!

Just love yourself, buy nice stuff for yourself, go out with friends, maybe write a diary, it does help.

Time cures.
