I use a 35% dental whitening kit sold on an eBay store. I just checked and they don't have the kit listed right now. I'm sure they will again soon. I tried Crest White Strips and some other treatments and I like this one the best. It's a lot less expensive and works very well. I've had people ask me how I get my teeth so white. Here's the link:

Be sure if you decide to get this that you get the kit so you'll have the whitening trays for your teeth.

I was just reading some of the other answers above mine. The kit with the light that grisgris husband uses is also sold at the eBay store above. Also, please, please don't put Clorox Bleach in your mouth. I knew someone who accidentally got some mixed in with a glass of water. He drank one swallow and was in the hospital for a long time!

I find the white strips bother my teeth, so I use Listerine whitening prewash before brushing (AWESOME STUFF!!!) And brush with Vivid white night toothpaste (crest i think?) and use the strips only for a few days before specific events. The pre-wash is amazing you should use it no matter what other method you choose to follow. Happy whitening!

My husband uses one of those white light teeth whitening systems. You know, where you put the whitener on a mouthpiece and then stick a bright light in your mouth for 20 minutes & then rinse. It almost works too good. I can see my husband's teeth IN THE DARK!

Crest white strips work very well. I used them and people asked me if I had my teeth whitened!

i used premium crest whitestrips and noticed several shades' difference after a few weeks. $30 for a box to lighten up several shades as opposed to $100s of dollars for perhaps seven-to-eight shades whiter teeth

of course, you should always use whitening toothpaste and try to avoid things like coffee and smoking because they will stain your teeth

There are some great drugstore products out there now. I have tried most of them. Try Crest whitestrips. They really make your teeth a lot whiter.

Cheap and easy, swish every morning with a bit of hydrogen peroxide. It's like $1 a bottle. That's the ghetto but effective way to go about it.
