The hardware is found, but no driver is applied

Speakers don't need a driver. The sound card does though, check that first. Also, make sure all the cables are plugged in fully and correctly.

speakers dont need drivers but you may need the audio driver for your pc to be able to send the sound to your speakers.
to check this do the following:
right click my computer-manage-device manager-double click where it says sound, video, and game controllers-see if there are any yellow exclamation marks if there are you need a driver
all you have to do is go to the acer website and they should have a support and downloads section. find the downloads for your model and locate the audio driver. download and install that.

Are they on mute... or av u picked the right ones in the sound and audio devices... because if there found... it shuldn't b the sound card!
