I was wondering what would be a good guess? I am thinking about selling some at a fall festival. They would have carmel, chocolate, and candy sprinkles or nuts. I know some sell them for almost 15 dollars, but that seems really steep for around here. Thanks for your input.

Well, you could buy a bag of apples for about $3, a bag or carmel for about the same, popsicle sticks, maybe $2, chocolate...lets get the good stuff, $5, sprinkles, $2, and nuts for about $2...totals $17...then divide by # of apples in the bag (say 10)...about $1.70 each.....just a guess though.

i know at my local grocery store, they have caramel mix for apples. its not expensive at all, maybe 3 or 4 bucks a box, plus cost of apples. i would go for sprinkles because nuts are quite expensive. then get some colored celophane (spelling is probably wrong on that) and some ribbon. your cost per apple shouldnt be over $5 so if your competition is selling for 15 you should go for 10 or 12. and your still making a profit. they would definately be a hit at a fall festival. good luck.

I don't know about a Carmel apple, what's that one all about. Why not look up Caramel Toffee Apple on Recipes on the net and see how to make those instead.......... (good luck but 15 dollars is a bit steep - you will sell more and make more money at $5).............
