Heck no, you are fine. I wish I weighed 123 lbs, I would be thrilled.

Just because your friends weigh less than you does not mean you are fat or that you weigh too much. If you take that logic to the extreme, it just makes entire groups of friends anorexic.
Also, if you are taller than your friends, you can quite naturally weigh more than they do, and still have the same dress size. Being a guy, I don't know how dress sizes work or how fast they change with weight gain, but I think it's safe to say that ten pounds either way probably wouldn't change much.

If you weight less than your friends, but are the same dress size, it's probably because you are taller or if that's not the case, it just means you probably have more muscle than they do or a larger frame. You do not need to lose any weight. Size 8 is fine and you shouldn't compare yourself to your friends anyway, because everyone is different. HTH : )

You sound fine to me. Of course your height has to come into account also. But another matter is whether you're broad shoulder, heavy boned etc. Also if you've got wide hips or thighs. Cos if you have wide hips it's just the heavy bones down there. Don't try going to the gym also, cos sometimes muscle can put on tramatic amounts of weight.
Why the curiosity I wonder. But you sound like what most girls would die for. So keep it real and stay as you are

You can lok at size:height tables in books about health for that sort of thing, but remember that they tend to advise a very low ideal weight.
You should look at yourself in a long mirror, as if you were looking at someone else, and decide how this person looks, without comparing to some supermodel that no-one can look like anyway; be reasonable. If the person looks OK, forget it; you're OK.
If you are only size 8, my God, how could you actually be fat unless you're pnly four feet tall?

That sounds like a perfectly healthy weight. Remeber, bones and muscles weigh more than fat so fat people can some times weigh less than someone of the smae height but who is thinner than them. I am sure you are a lovely person, do not worry about your weight unless you are obesse

Variety is the spice of life. You are perfect just the way you are and shouldn't feel under any pressure to change for anybody. If everyone was the same the world would be boring. You've certainly got it so go out there and flaunt it girl xxx

I don't think so. If yo loose any more weight, we wouldn't be able to see you. I'm 16 but Im like 150 pounds. What's your height? Your friends might be slightly more active. Don't try and loose weight - you can risk your health doing this

If you go onto ediets on the tesco website then you put in your height, weight and age and they will tell you if you are overweight or not, but you shouldn't go on the weight of your friends, you may have more muscle than them, bigger bone structure or anything.
Think of yourself, don't compare yourself, everyone is an individual, never forget that!

How does your height compare to your friends? If you are taller you will weigh more. Even just an inch or two can make a big difference.

I doubt it, size 8 is slim, everybody has their own personal weight, you may just have a different frame.
