Your grammar isn't that hot either.

To get into med school you've got to be the best - no-one wants third-rate doctors handing out pills or cutting people open. If you are able to take yourself from the bottom of the class in science to the top by applying yourself and putting in the work then you have the necessary mental toughness and dedication to be a doctor.

Bear in mind that just being good at science exams isn't enough on its own - you have to actually *understand* what's going on and be able to describe it to others. Many years of hard work lay ahead if you are serious about the medical profession and a large proportion of students drop out along the way.

If none of that puts you off then you've passed the first hurdle - good luck!

You can do any thing you want to do. Before answering your question, I'll tell you why I say that.

I never finished high school (dropped out when I was in the 10th grade). I was going to go back and finish, but that particular morning my father made fun of my hair and the way I looked and that was the end...I never went back. A few months later I was looking for work and saw everything I wanted required typing. I had never taken typing in school, but a friend had a typing book - showing placement of fingers and exercises - so I borrowed it and for the rest of that day and all night long I worked on learning and practicing. The next day I applied for the secretarial position, took the typing test, and got it. Over the years I got my speed up to 80 wpm over a sustained 5-minute-period on electric typewriters and 120 on the computer. I've held executive secretarial positions in the medical field, legal, law enforcement, education, and to presidents of companies. About 20 years after I dropped out of school I went back for my GED and passed at college level.

So...how can you become smarter and get better grades in school....WANT it! With all your heart. Place that at the top of your priorities. And always do just a little more than your assignment calls for - or that others ask of you. If you don't understand something, ASK. An instructor = to teach...a student = to learn. And above all...strive to be the best and be proud of what you do.

Good luck with your future career.

Learn to focus on applied math. Doctors need good communication skills so take an English class as well.

You need to have science in your sole if you are to succeed. Read magazines and journals on current issues in science to inspire you. If not, it isn't too late to change your mind on being a doctor and stick to theoretical mathematics instead.

First learn good English. Than develop good study habits, and stay with them.
Even if you don't have work make some up every day. make everything you do a math challenge.(especially with Algebra).
if you are not good with math you have to learn how to apply it to your work daily. This will self train you in math. Get someone whom math comes easy to to help you.You can buy self help videos, and books but nothing can replace actually using math in your everyday life as this what you will soon be doing anyway.

the secret to math is practice, so you'd better start practising, even if you have to take a tutor, since doctors have to use math in almost every aspect of their career, from use and dosage to more complex equations. Good luck!
