well, considering he walked into her hotel room, sat down and died in his sleep, I would have to assume it was drug related if there is no other history of illness. Only an autopsy will tell for sure, but he grew up in priveledge and boredom with a messed up childhood, I wouldn't be surprised if it was drug related. Its so sad no matter what the cause, she had one baby and lost another...

An autopsy was performed Monday. On Tuesday, Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill said that based on preliminary findings, "the cause of death is not natural." But, she said, "we wish to reserve [announcing] the cause of death at this time," adding that a toxicology results and a full autopsy report will be released by the end of the week.

Virgill said an inquest will take place afterward and her staff will interview all "relevant witnesses," including Anna Nicole Smith, hospital workers and flight attendants, to develop an official timeline.

The coroner's statements came in the wake of a story in the Nassau Guardian that Daniel Smith suffered a "massive heart attack" and that antidepressants had been found in his system. The newspaper said that Daniel was seen "vomiting uncontrollably" shortly before his death.

He died because of the really hard heart attack, which is absolutely not typical in his age. So it means that something caused it. I think it was both drugs and environment. Plus I cant believe that Anna Nicole Smith's lifestyle can product a healthy baby.

I saw on the news that it was not natural causes and there were traces of an antidepressant in his body. I guess they're waiting for the autopsy to see what it was. So sad!

There's an article on yahoo now that says they are almost positive they know what killed him, but won't release til they get a confirmation from a toxicology report. very strange. It also said there was a 3rd person in the room, but no one is saying who it is.

I think he was too young to die of natural causes. He was on anti-depressants and from all the vomitting and blood everywhere, it sounds like he may have over-dosed on his anti-depressant pills.
