well.............my cousin is getting married and i'm supposedto dress her in her d'day............so i need u'r help................she is fair,a bit broad and a bengali..........pl plz give me all kinds of tips and sites and pictures etc.i need special tips (better if accompanied by picture)about hairstyle(bun),forehead alpana and makeup.
for bengalis putting on a forehead alpana is a must.its mainly white with some colours here and there.nowadays parlour girls use fabric paint to do it but i think it is very harmful for skin.please suggest an alternative preparation.
also do let me know about good make up artistes in kolkata and bangalore.

well the saree should be realyy dressy , make sure u put a large red bindi on her forehead(circular) along with tiny other red bindis and dont forget the red alta on her hands and feet.and dont forget the topor on the head

in alternative to fabric colour you can use gerimati. you make her wear a red colour banaroshi sari with traditional gold jewellery like bajabandha, nose ring ,payel ,bicha. the make up should not be heavy .brides natural beauti must be seen
