I am not against watching films nor in studying. Even though I used to see every new film, I cleared IIT JEE. It all depends upon the thinking of the fellow. The films are for refreshment of your mind. Sometimes after heavy study the mind become inefficient, so this is also the best way to refresh your mind. It is better to restrict yourself to some films especially of your favourite hero or heroine. The restriction should be started slowly. Never have a bad thinking that your time has been wasted in watching the movie. Always love your workand you will certainly succeed my good and benevolent wishes are always with you.

Movies are not real life. The stars you're watching on screen all have sucessful careers. They're rich. They know nothing about you. Education is very important for a young lady. Once you have a good education, no one can take it away from you. The onus is on you to make a future for yourself. The best time to study is now while you are young. If you don't do this for yourself, none of the film stars will help you. Their careers are made. You have to work on yours now. You have your whole life to watch movies. Remember, lost time is never returned. Maybe you can schedule your time better. For instance, make a timetable. Have a specified time for studies and a separate time for movies. Mentally say to yourself "I will not watch any movies until I finish this project." etc. If you don't get a good job, you'll have to pinch your pennies and you won't be able to see as many movies anyway.

Try to classify the movies like, comedy, tragedy, full of fighting torture and horror, mythology, copied from foreign source,
copied from olden movies etc etc . Even scenes from the movies can be classified as Amithabs scene repeated by shahruk khan, or mahmood imitated by some one else, or a marriage scene, or hero playing or pining on the piano etc. gradually you will begin to understand that there is hardly a few new ideas and rest all from the old masala. Then you will become very selective and see only few movies. Dont see a movie because of advertisement or hearsay. Unless it runs for at least two weeks it is not worth seeing.

ok.....i think i know what you mean....so just remember that watching movies will not help you be productive, but doing your school work or other duties will.

watch a movie to reward yourself after you completed your work.
