Technically Ian Wright was the top scorer for the first Premiership season, but just counting League goals, it was Teddy Sheringham with 21 league goals!

Yes it was Teddy Sheringham who scored 21 goals in 1992-93. He was bought for 2million pounds.
Pity though, Forest could have done with a few of his goals,because they were duly relegated in Clough's last season in charge.
