Classy, huh? Isn't that kinda like asking for a reasonable Yahoo Answers staff?
My truck needs a paint job too and I thought about shag carpet but there's just something creepy about vacuuming the outside of it. Of course, with the right marketing tools, one could actually turn this into quite the fad. Hey- we could even invent a drive through brushless vacuuming station!

Don't go to the expense of carpet for yourself. Get the whole family together, go over to the Joneses, and track mud and dog snark in on their carpet. Then it won't be something you envy and you save a buck.

Casinos have some that you can get cheap. I know what you mean about the Jones's. There are 29 of them in the NFL, how can you keep up with them all?

I remember when my brother painted his room black and had purple shag carpet. I thought my parents were going to kill him.

Classy second hand stuff?
Sure, just shave a few cats and knit yourself one...does that count as second hand to you? I am sure it does to the cats

Why . . . yuck. Had it in the seventies, ugly stuff. However, my son, 23, likes it.
