In which area of Indian Central Government are you working ? your job has to be one of the demand occupations to get you into Canada. The current demand poccupations are in I.T /computers.

Unless ur looking for extra money, i wouldnt suggest you make the move since u already are in a stable job. As you will have to face new place, new people, new cold weather (probably have no idea how cold it gets), pain of being away from the family/friends etc
As far as visa is concerned, just go to canadian gov website, they have all the procedures listed there.
