Shaving promotes growth, can split hairs and can give a reaction on growback, but it is less painful (as long as you do not cut yourself.

I dont like waxing because it friggin hurts and you have to spend 2 weeks out of 6 growing your hairs, whereas I'd like to be consistantly smooth!
Shaving works well for me in the legs and underarms but the bikini line is the real nightmare because it's so sensitive you can get really bad razor burn, which then bleeds when you try to shave over it!!!
If neither work for you, there's always creams- but in my experience you have to leave them on twice as long as recommended, and then scrub it off with an exfoliating sponge to get smooth results.

waxing gets closer and last longer but you need to grow out the hair a little in between so that the wax has something to grip. shaving is easier can be done at home but can leave razor burn and has to be done every other day at least to prevent stubble.

i love the results of waxing from a salon .it lasts for about 4 week, but it hurts. especially arm pits. shaving is easier in your own home.try using a plastic razor, i got one from avon with no blades. it does cut your skin. i have tried waxing at home but results were rubbish, left me covered in wax and not take any hairs off.

advantages for waxing the hair takes longer to grow back
some does it for you
advangtages for shaving regrowth is quicker, its less painful than waxing, you know what hair wants to go and stay shaving is more accurate, quick n ezy less messy than waxing.

you need water soap and raxor for shaving and just hot wax for waxing
