For men:

ZINC is essential to our growing older metabolism. Take extra zinnc daily, like a 50mg tablet, or a multi vitamin

Vitamins A, B, C, and E are perhaps the more sought after vitamins required for growing males. Vitamin C is essential but you also need sunlight to properly assimilate it in your system, and most men also show a Vitamin E defficiency, which is why most doctors will recommend men to take more.

A good multi vitamin taken daily should help properly regulate your body, and it is also the easiest way to do so. If you start taking all sorts of vitamins individually, you may end up looking like a mental patient in a hospital movie!

When you do your yearly physical, ask your doctor for a blood test to see what areas you may need to improve...

Cheers

I'm still not convinced that vitamin supplements are as helpful as they are made out to be.

Vitamin supplements are more helpful for people who do not get what they need from their diet. They are also helpful in special periods, such as women during pregnancy do benefit from pre natal vitamins. Children also benefit from vitamins because they are fortified with calcium for their growing bones and fluoride for teeth.

But assuming that you are healthy and able to eat a good balanced diet, you should receive what your body needs right from your diet.

Have you ever noticed that your urine is a bright fluorescent yellow when you take V-supplements? This is mostly caused by the B complex group as their molecular structure causes this. Why does this happen though, it is what the body did not absorb. In a pill form, the body will only absorb so much before it expels it in urine. There is also a saturation point when you have received all you body can absorb, anything in excess will be eliminated. it's like a cup full of water. The cup will only accommodate only so much water, you can still pour more water in the cup, but it will be wasted.

My recommendation, eat a well balanced diet and exercise.

Of benefit to men, Lycopene. If you work out and are trying to build muscle, protein and creatine.

Complete Vitamin and Mineral Matrix.

All essential sugars to enable cell-to-cell communication.

Avoid self-proclaiming rubbish over the counter, health doesn't come cheap. Most of the vitamin supplements found on the shelf do not contain anything like what they claim (fact).

If you would like more information, please feel free to contact me via my profile. I work with a research and development company who are world leaders in this field, tens of thousands of scientific papers written about it already.

Good luck.

Not so sure about vitamins, but I have heard that oily fish (sardines, salmon, makerel etc) which contain Omega 3 are great for sperm count, so as long as you like fish, you're sorted! If you dont like fish, you can buy Omega supplements from most health stores!
