On the pill. Bleeding started on the day expected. Very heavy the first day (much heavier then usual), however, very little bleeding day 2 and 3 so far. The blood is a bright red, not the norm for me. Going for a blood test this afternoon. HPT taken this morning was negative. (I'm 16 days past Ov.) Just looking for a little insight before the blood work. Thanks!

you're fine. i'm on the pill too. every few months or so its gets all wacky and is bright red and seems like its going to be really heavy and then pretty much stops. no kids thus far!!
i just drink lots of water and it starts evening me out.

period implantation bleeding is very light pink and only few spotting so its got to be your period your probley heavier just starting the pill you have to give your body time to adjust but your doing the best thing and getting this sorted by dr help best wishes

I would think this is your period. You usually do not get false negatives on a HPT. Good Luck!

I'm thinking it would be your period, implantation is just light spotting and although it would be bright red the consistency you speak of is just too high.
