It all depends. I was always told that you're only as old as you feel. I try to stick to that way of thinking. I believe that it is true. Besides, my body may get "old"...but does the spirit?

Old is always better than not alive, right?

I don't think it's really an age, it's more of a lifestyle. For example:

Your getting old if you eat dinner at 4pm, an you usually eat it at golden corral or some such 5 dollar buffet.

Your getting old if you drive your car in the left hand lane of I-95 ( or other highway ) at 35 mph.

Your getting old if you start seeing your friends kids at Ozzfest.

Your getting old when you step into an elevator and actually HEAR songs from ozzfest...

Your getting old when........

When I was 12 I would have said at age 30. Now that I'm 40 I'm thinking more like 80. When I get to 80, I'm sure my view will have changed, so you can ask me again then.

Time is in the eye of the beholder.

Apparently, the age at which our body stops producing unique new cells, and starts to degenerate is 25... are there any geneologists out there who can hopefully refute this? I'm 33 and I feel great!

Social science states that chronologically we are young old from 65 to 74, middle old from 75 to 84, and the oldest old from 85 and older.
My gerontology teacher says that old is relative to whom you ask!

when you're tired of living and making a living. when you feel you have no more use in your family. but this is actually a choice. you can be usefull till the very last breath of your life. i've seen a lot of oldies who had maximized their life till the very end. they're forever young.
