Orgasm by stimulating the clitoris is one thing - and the most common, of course. And I don't doubt the existence of the G Spot - though its sensitivity differs for each woman. But I'm getting all kinds of different theories about just how common it is to have an orgasm only from vaginal stimulation. So ladies, has it happened to you? Has it happened often? Did it take a lot of work? Would really appreciate serious answers, although, of course, it's about something very fun. :-) Thanks!

Women need to understand (and men too I guess) that orgasms are different. They're not the same for each woman, and they certainly aren't the same from each area. Yes, the clitoris is the most common -- it has thousands of nerve endings. Vaginal and G-Spot are more difficult and some women NEVER experience them. There are also multiple orgasms, which again, some women NEVER experience.

Most girls on this site claim to always have them. They lie! Most boys on this site claim to always give their girl one. They lie!

But for women, once you learn how to relax and enjoy yourself, they are easier to attain with the right partner, the right technique, and time!

The g-spot does most definitely exist! And in my opinion it's a much better orgasm.

I found it with my first partner by accident when I was in my late teens, I didn't even know that a g-spot existed, let alone where it was. My partner at the time found it when he did a 'beckoning' motion with one finger (like you would if you wanted to gesture to a naughty child to tell them to come to you, like moving your finger up and over and repeating it - difficult to explain!) the sensation was strange, but nice if you know what I mean, and later on we realised that I could almost reach an orgasm that way. With time and I guess practice I could orgasm this way, and it helps if I tense and contract my pelvic floor muscles. It has taken practice, but it's well worth it as I now have more and better orgasms through vaginal sex, and the clitoral orgasm is a poorer cousin so to speak!

However, it's not all plain sailing, for my the g-spot is sometimes elusive and some days it appears not to be there at all, strangely enough I can also feel it less if I have an empty bladder.

Enough of me garbling on about way too personal stuff! I think you might find this more useful. It looks pretty 'spot' on to me! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gspot

Happy hunting! ;o)

Every woman is different when it comes to orgasms. Some women will never experience an orgasm, and others (like myself) experience them every time they have intercourse. For me it doesn't take much, my man can just do a sexy strip show for me and I have an orgasm. During intercourse I usually have an orgasm every three minutes or so. Sometimes I have orgasms that last for a few seconds, and sometimes I have orgasms that will last up to five minutes. It is said that if a woman can't experience orgasm during intercourse that they won't be as satisfied as women who have orgasms during intercourse. If you haven't experienced an orgasm, than you need to ask your man politely if he will have more foreplay with you, sometimes this extra stimulation will lead you into an orgasm during intercourse. That is all of the advice I can give you. Have fun:)

My experience with this (and I *am* a man, but please read on...) is that this is very individual from woman to woman. It's not a "one size fits all" (sorry for the unintentional pun) answer, I'm sure. With every woman I've discussed this or experienced this with, the experiences have been so different that the only conclusion I can make is this:

Whether or not a woman can have a non-clitoral orgasm is just as individual as HOW it is accomplished among those who do.

But, the same can be said for clitoral orgasms. As varied as fingerprints.

OH YEAH!!! But only since I have hit this freakiness in my mid to late 30's. For me it is from the g-spot primarily, with short fast strokes, putting the pressure on the spot, which for me is in the front and about two inches in. Of course it helps that my honey is on the large side, and nipple stimulation helps me alot too. Anyway, my husband will stop periodically just to make me last longer, because I want to get done, it feels so good!

I've had two types of orgasms, from the inside and from the clitoris (the outside). I've never had an orgasm from vaginal sex, only oral. And oral sex only produced orgasms from the outside being rubbed. Also, once I found out that I could have orgasms from the outside, I tried a million times to get one from the inside, and I can't! I haven't had one from the inside in years!

Anyway, if you've never had an orgasm, buy a vibrator! Lye down when you're all alone, turn the t.v. on to something that turns you on, relax, close your eyes and focus on something sexually stimulating, and put the vibrator on your clitoris (the outside area that flaps up).
