I'm 23, and am happily living with my partner.
I am normally regular as clockwork, on a 31 day cycle.

I had my last period on the 17th July.

I have Bloating,
a metallic taste in my mouth.
Blue veiny breasts
Headaches
Bad gas/diorrhea
Heartburn
I find it hard to wear a bra as its so uncomfortable
My trousers are really tight
I feel nauseous
I like foods now that I didnt like before, and vice versa
Slight nosebleeds
Thread veins on my thighs
Im really tired ALL the time.

I have done HPT on -
the 23rd august(am) negative
the 24th august(pm) negative
the 2nd Sept(am) negative
the 9th Sept(pm) negative

And I'm due on again on the 17th(this sunday).

I have had unprotected sex 3 times so far this month
and twice in the week before my period was due in august.

I intend to go to the doctors if I miss this AF on sunday, but I would like some advice.

I AM ready for a child as I have had an abortion in the past which I fully regretted.

Also we were not using ANY birth control.

It very much sounds like it, and in terms of the HPT a positive is a positive, but a negative can be a false negative.

A woman usually ovulates 14 days before her period starts (or was due), and is most fertile in the 5 or so days before she ovulates. For example you're like me, I too have a 31 day cycle, and ovulate on CD18/19, but theoretically am most fertile between CD13 to CD18/19.

If you think you had sex around this fertile time then it's very possible that the symptoms you are experiencing are as a result of a pregnancy.

The only way to confirm it if the hpt's are coming up negative is to have a beta blood-test, and have a physical examination or scan.

I truly hope that you get your wish, I have everything crossed for you and your partner.

Symptoms sound like pregnancy to me, but you should go see a doctor.
Are you on birth control? That can cause a "phantom pregnancy" including morning sickness.
My friend has had negative pregnancy results all three times, she never did get a positive although she has 3 amazing kids.
It sounds like you are trying to get pregnant, but at 23 do you really feel ready? If not, talk to your doctor about going on birth control. It's easy and you don't have to worry about being "unprotected". Good luck either way!

If you have already taken a preg. test and it was negative... you still may be preg. I was 14 when i got preg. and still had my period for the first 4 Months( i had no clue i was preg.) On the fifth month i didnt have my period so i took a at home preg test and it was positive... i didnt tell anyone. i started feeling bad cramps one night and my mom took me to the emergency room ( she thought i was preg) but the test at the hospital came back neg. I few weeks later I had a check up at the doctors and they ran a blood test and saw i was preg.. So, you maybe if you are worried see your doctor right away.. they best thing for you and your baby is that you get prenatal care from the start of your preg. Thank God my baby boy was perfectly Heathy.. i hope I helped if you have any other questions you can e-mail me at bud_devil42102@yahoo.com

This isn't really answering your question, but go to the doctor regardless, because your body's doing some wierd things that should be checked out whether you're pregnant or not. Best of luck, and try to stay calm.

Hard to say really. Have you been under any stress? Changed your diet or exercising excessively? I know they're the main reasons other than pregancy for an absent period. I would get to the docs to be sure.

Good Luck!

I would say so, yes.
Remember, home pregnancy tests are not 100% reliable. You may be getting false negative readings. Go to the doctor and get a blood test done.

You can get false negatives on tests so I think get checked out by your doc. Certainly sounds like youre pregnant but best to make sure. Take care

I would say that it is very possible but you should go to the doctor and make sure. There could alway be another problem causeing you to miss your period...Bad diet, over exercising, rapid weight loss....etc...

Sounds like it, get a blood test done. I had false test, with my daughter, four of them, i was 3 months gone when i was proved to be preggie with a blood test, go get tested. Or, it could be something going on with you hormones, sounds like pregnancy to me though.
