I recently went to a retreat where i tried the synergy thing I was quite pleased and surprised with the results and feelings it brought up. I cant find a practitioner near my home or work that does it but there is one about 10 from where I work that does reiki. I am wondering if anyone is familiar with both and if they know whether they are similiar or not

Rubenfeld uses a combination of touch and talk therapy, where most Reiki practitioners rely mainly on touch. I am an advocate of combining energy therapies to achieve maximum results. I've included a link to Rubenfield's home page to help you locate a therapist.
Reiki does work on all levels, and I do not intend to suggest that it is not a viable alternative therapy. In our practice, we combine sound energy healing, crystal therapy, and Reiki. Please feel free to email me if you'd like to discuss this further.
