It was on the Sci fi channel and came on in the mornings around 9ish. It was a very old looking soap opera type drama set in the 1900's I think. I remember there was a guy who was killed and he came back in ghost form. The "house" was near an ocean, or somehow I remember something having to do with the ocean and maybe a lighthouse.

It was "Dark Shadows," a 1960's soap that first aired at 4:00 in the afternoon. I was a fan. A cupa and a bunch of cookies were great while watching.
