Brandon Walsh - Very cocky, always wants to be right, annoyingly arrogant

Brenda Walsh - Over emotional, craved constant attention, despite all her big pursuits - still came across immature.

Kelly Taylor - Love her! The most realistic character on the show, gorgeous, and had a lot of constant drama in her life.

Dylan McKay - Drama overload on this guy; they made him seem so great but he was the biggest loser of them all. Hate all episodes that he's in because he gets so much camera time.

Andrea Zuckerman - Geeky, brainiac, didn't enjoy her on the show.

Steve Sanders - Huge camera hog, worthless character, comedy relief, not interesting at all - hated all plots that revolved around him.

Valerie Malone - Great drama between her and Kelly; her character was evil and yet sensitive - awesome!!

Gina Kincaid - A Valerie Malone wannabeee!!

What do you guys think? Pick any characters and discuss!!

Oh my gosh I forgot DONNA heee :)

Yes I agree with answerer number 1 - Donna was the "perfect little rich girl who liked to do something good for everyone." They portrayed her as the all-around good friend but I think we all know she is probably far from it!!

David Silver - I think he was the most realistic of the guys. He started out as a big time geek, went through a lot of family and drug/alcohol problems, but always seemed to pull through. He had some attitude at times!!

Let's see.....
Brandon Walsh was a knowit all and his looks never changed throughout the show (wait neither did any of the guys). I liked that he was the one everyone could count on.

Kelly Taylor was by far my favorite character. She evolved the most realistically. She stuck to her opinions....didn't like that she got hooked up with Colin and drugs

Donna Martin was a fill in character at first but became an important character on the show. Loved that she never forgot her first love David, and loved her friendship with Kelly. Didn't like how naive she was.

Brenda Walsh-couldn't stand her until Valerie came along. Valerie actually made me miss Brenda, and so sad that we never got to see a Valerie-Brenda feud.

Dylan McKay was actually my favorite male. (Loved Luke Perry as a teenager). Hated that when his problems got to him he would push all that loved him away. Loved watching him loving his women Toni and Kelly. Loved his sensitive side.

Steve Sanders-never liked him until he hooked up with Janet and had Maddie. I liked the family man that he became.

David Silver- loved his relationship with his "sister" Kelly and loved that he ended up with Donna at the end. Hated his wanna be singer storylines.

Loved this question!

Brandon Walsh 90210

Ahh, 1 of my all time favorite shows! I DVR it on the soap net and watch it all the time.

Brenda - yes, but the end of her run, she was very full of herself but you must admit, nothing is more 90210 then the "brenda years". I think those were the best episodes!

Brandon- ah, the boy scout of the group w/a dark side, (remember the teacher he had the affair w/and the chick he cheated on kelly with). He was the steve's go to guy to get him out of trouble and sometimes I felt his characther was acting to old for his age. He'd be in college acting like he's 40!!! But he was always a true friend and just had a good heart.

Steve - love steve! He would beat to his own drum and added some comedy to the show. He also was the one that got in the most trouble even though either his dad or brandon would bail him out. You have to admit he did have an edearing soft side and just wanted everyone to enjoy the ride. (remember how guilty he was about the fire Kelly was in? And how honest he was w/kelly about the rumors from H.S. he started about her? and to boot, it almost cost him his relationship with Clare, but he still stood up to the plate for the sake of honesty.)

Kelly - ok, a little self involved in the begining but ended up turning out more normal then I imagined. She was always the one that had the most drama, the diet pills, mom's drugs/divorces, never seeing her dad, rape, fire, almost murdered by that whacko from rehab, coke w/colin, being shot,,god, they never did give that girl a break! I like Kelly and I was happy she ended up with brandon and not Matt.

donna - the little ditz from the beginning ended up to be a very independent person. Can't take that away from her. She was always looking out for everyone's best interests even though she would be hurt by the people she loved the most, ie, david cheating, kelly turning her away when she was hooked on drugs, but Donna never held any of that against them and became the bigger person.

David, ended up being the hottest of the bunch by the time it ended. Love that he finally came to realize Donna was his true love. I hated when they had him on drugs but he got himself out of it. I also did like the relationship he had with Valerie, they really did care for each other and I think he was the only one that truely got her. He saw thru her evil ways and knew her better then anyone.

Dylan, hmm, love him. Mysterious, always kinda shady. Would have loved to have him end up w/brenda, I thought they worked better together then him with Kelly. I also think he showed that he was truely closer to some of them vs the rest and it showed. Yeah, llike him and donna ever hung together,,,i don't think so.

Andrea - she added a lot to the show and they needed the smart chick. I liked her relationship w/brandon and I think it made them better friends. They truely cared about each other and he really was her "scarecrow", remember when she left and felt like Dorothy saying goodbye! "and i'm gonna miss you most of all!"

It seems when the show first started, all the characters were your basic high school stereotypes, but as the show went on the characters grew in a sence. I pretty much agree with your analysis, also have to add that Donna was the stereotypical virgin/heroine.

I didn't like Andrea Zuckerman, I know she was supposed to be the "smart" character, but I found her whiny and annoying. My favourite character was David, he seemed the most normal.

Dylan is the worst. He is selfish and dumb and unmotivated and has nothing to offer anyone. Looking back, I have no clue why Brenda and Kelly would fight over him. He is a gigantic loser who never did anything worthwhile with his life. Kelly was sort of his female counterpart: dumb, selfish, clingy, narcissistic and just overall stupid. Brenda was way too good for both of these losers who deserve each other.

I loved Brandon: a genuinely nice guy who goes out of his way for people, down to earth, kind and never arrogant about it. Definitely my most fave character on the show. When they paired him with that bimbo Kelly, it was ridiculous. he was way too good for that self centered airhead.

it is interesting that as a teenager I did not like Steve but after Brandon he sort of became one of my faves too. Just an overall likable guy.

Andrea was just unlikable and boring, especially toward the end. It actually really annoted me he and Brandon never got together. The entire story line where she has sex for the third time and gets pregnant and then actually marries a an she's known for a few weeks, a man who 5 minutes ago told her he would not even wanna see her ever again if she exercised her right to end a pregnancy, was just sad and a total betrayal to the essence of such an otherwise strong, opinionated character. She is pathetic and annoying the entire fourth season and I can see why they ended her storyline.

Donna and David were just meh. No opinion either way.

After Brenda left, the show wasnt the same anymore. The first 3 or 4 seasons were all about the life of these people, slice of life kind of thing. But it just got really bad and soapy and absurd afterward.
