Most of the time your computer won't perform at its best as it should. For example, it may slow down or programs wont operate properly. Your computer may take longer to begin and finish tasks. Worse case, you will notice data in your computer is missing or changed; sometimes you may find data you did not put there. Use to be an issue a virus is capable of going through your Internet info and collect private data. But with the new security features provided today that rarely happens. I would suggest to purchase a virus scanner which can easily be purchased online, some cases its free.

Computer viruses acts invincibility. Sometimes your anti-virus may not detect it.

Several symptoms are:
When your computer behaves abnormally,
When your system lost its performance extremely,
When (this is serious case) all files had been deleted not by you, and your computer totally unuseable.

Some viruses only affect while you open the infected file, others just run automatically in a programme. Point is it is hard to guess how the virus invades your computer.

Get your virus file update frequently, or get a latest update from your anti-virus program.
