I dont think using under eye gel of a reputed company would give you any kind of problems.
I use Garnier light.
Try that out.

Wow! No, if it is "burning" you have an allergy to an ingredient in them and you should stop using it.
If it is a glycolic or AHA based product, it should actively tingle, but not burn.
You can actually damage your skin, especially the sensitive thin skin around the eyes, by using a product you are sensitive to.
Go to a local esthetician or dermatologist to figure out a product that will work for you.
You didn't mention how old you are, but as an esthetician, I would avoid any product around your eyes until you figure this out.
Good Luck!

I have very sensitve skin around my eyes and tried lots of things over the years being a skin care consultant and the only one that has worked for myself as well as my clients has been arbonne's RE-9 Repair eye creme.

You might try Clarins. The products are made with botanicals and are gentle. The Clarins under eye gel I used did not burn.

I've used several trying to find one that won't burn. SknCeuticals' Eye Balm is great, but it's not cheap.
