My Mother is 76 so I feel ya.. take her to a spa.. She might think it frivilous though. My mother enjoys being around her family. If she likes to read get her a book on her favorite subject. Personally I would take my mother out to eat and arrange for the family to be at the restaurant. It requires planning. It can be done though. Ok so now that I have thought about it . Take her to a day spa. Then plan for her dinner that night with your family present.

I don't know where you live but tea at the Ritz is a lovely treat. Its about £25.00 per head. If you don't live near London then I am sure there is somewhere near you thats a little special.

I took my mother's birthday, I took her out near the seaside. .........
................
................
When I say took her out, it was more like took her out with an AK 47 and when I say by the seaside, I mean off the edge of a cliff.
