I hate to say it, but it usually gravitates towards safe topics like work, weather, sports. Unfortunately, we can't talk religion, politics, etc.

say hi, and then stay not far away from her or him and say the following, " I feel comfort when I talk to you , can you give me one second from your time? she will say no problem" and then try to say to her that you need her help in your wok . or if you want to have an idea about topics, ask her about the best perfume in the markets or clothes or TV shows. but I think the best way is to say to her ' hi, I like you, what you say?" and i want to know you more; give me this opportunity" but , look, choose the best and the calm moment for her, because it is the key solution of all succeeded conversation. let your heart speak. good luck.

general non offensive topics are always a good starting point, try sports, television, local current events, the weather etc and then progress onto more personal topics as you got to know someone better and can gauge their reaction. good luck

You can't go wrong with food. Ask if anyone knows a good restaurant to go to at weekends. Start talking about what kind of restaraunts and what food you all like to have when you eat out!

Start a pub type discussion like favourite old telly progs or old adverts. Everyone gets enthusiastic and joins in with that type of chat!

I work in an office with all guys... their favorite topic is monday night football... they couldn't wait! sports generally engages people... these guys like to talk about tv shows too...

start with the basics likes and dislikes then suss sneaky if they have a parter or their current stste of play if you get the green light be bold and offer an afterwork drink

Go with sex or jokes thats usually a good conversation starter.....if she laughs at you and or what you say its a good indication that she wants you.
