The company must make "reasonable adjustments to make it accessible" auditory sounds is not unreasonable. It is actually the responsibility of the store/building where you use the lift they are responsible for ensuring they meet DDA standards they should be insisting the lift company or making the service they are giving you accessible. They also hate bad publicity speak to them.
