If your interested go to the human spaceflight realtime data page.
There are links for your city....some city's are not visable.
Here in the north you can't see them sometimes in the winter but are visible in the south.
Also look for days when the shuttle is at it's highest angle because the sky is darker.
You could see the ISS with the naked eye or binoculars...It looks like a cross.

I live in Florida about 10 miles north of the Space Coast and we watch the shuttle blast off everytime we get a chance. It's a very amazing view from here. It looks like a fireball falling 'out' of the earth or rising into the sky with large billowing smoke trailing it. Within a moment, it's here but before you blink it's gone. As far as seeing it at night, we have schedules telling us when to look up but it's not as good as actually seeing it blast off over the Atlantic.

Yes, actually during astrology class. We were out looking at stars and had a telescope. We noticed something moving slowly and the teacher noted that it was the Space Shuttle and how lucky we were.

Yes I have. How neat to see that some other people do this. I think I saw it one time. It was way up there and moving, but I didn't see any lights blinking or anything. So, I don't think it was an Army Man in a Jet Plane.

the gap station is between the brightest factors contained in the sky; 4th, i imagine after Venus; The go back and forth isn't as bright, in spite of the undeniable fact that this is definitly seen. i have considered it some circumstances before, in spite of the undeniable fact that this is not something more effective than a medium/small celeb that strikes. quickly.

Everytime a shuttle is going into space from Fl. I can see it from my back yard. It's really neat. And at night is the best time cause we can see the orange from the flames.
