With the most recent quake in the Gulf Of Mexico being on February 10th, 2006, It seems funny to me that in the recent news very large pools of oil have been found in the mexico yet earth quakes are happening in an area with no fault line!! and the fault line is well distant from the nearest active plate boundary?Could oil drilling also be causing earthquakes and or a tsunami?

Oil drilling has never been linked to earthquakes. They are much deeper in the earth than the wells.
