i agree they are running out of ideas. half (or maybe more) of the shows on tv are reality shows. a lot of the new shows are unoriginal or have a bad premise.

Man, there's some great tv these days. My Name is Earl, It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia, Family Guy, Venture Brothers, heck, pretty much all of Adult Swim, many of the HBO original shows are excellent (Rome, Big Love, Lucky Louie). I look forward to checking out Ugly Betty, Friday Night Lights, Heroes, and a couple more new shows.

Maybe your tastes simply aren't reflected in pop culture right now.

boy do i ever agree with you on the TV issue. there are way too many reality shows. i think the net works went a little over board on them. and the new comedy sit-coms well they air a few episodes and they are never heard from again. they don't give them a chance. i like watching the re-runs of all the oldies but goodies sit-coms.

I agree. I remember when I was a kid back in the 1960's/ early 1970's there were good clean television shows to watch. Our tv is off more and more these days.

Considering most modern programming put on by the entertainment industry and liberal media, that's where the TV belongs.
