Same reason liberals got upset when they HEARD about "Path to 9/11". They are ractionary and don't need facts to stand in the way of their beliefs. Believers in the conspiracy theories are faux-intellectuals who think that they have open minds. Its more likely they have enpty minds because EVERY conspiracy theory and website is based on conjecture that EXCLUDES all known rules of science, mathematics, physics and engineering.

Because people love conspiracies. The simple direct answer isn't interesting and they will always look for an alternative. People will ignore straight ahead facts to try to make their conspiracy theory work, and then selectively chose the information they want to believe as it works into their theory. As for 9/11, many will believe the US government is somehow involved just because it gives them another reason to hate GWB. People will put on blinders and go striaght to where they want to end up without ever allowing fact to interfere.

Because the little green men and art bell and george norrie tell them to believe that way..,many many contractors and architects have proven the conspiracy theory wrong time after time.These are people who conitunually hate our govt and continually seek some kind of conspiracy.They need to occupy their minds with something more educational than the hatred for this president and our govt.Granted the govt has alot of flaws..,but you know I am still proud to live in this county and proud to be an american.

I have asked myself that question many times.
It's hard to believe so many people would listen to propaganda that is mostly based on someone elses views or what someone else thinks they see in a video.Especially the claim of explosives used on the WTC towers.
Not a one of them that i have seen have any experiance in demolition nor do they have much knowledge of the physics of controled demolition.

"in the words of JACK" you can't handle the truth. They would rather watch a DVD, CNN, an episode of "the twilight zone?" or rely on local intellectually stimulating conversations a starbucks over a cafe mocha, as opposed to doing one (just one) google search for a smidgen of of the truth
