She didn't keep ranting, it was the liberal media that ranted. It was one line in her book.
You did read the book, didn't you?
Or are you basing this question on second, or more likely third, hand knowledge?

Why do you believe that people who have a public political agenda are not allowed to be criticized?
If they were simply mourning their loss and trying to bring the nation together in a non partisan way, then Ann would be terribly wrong to criticize them.
But they aren't. They are being totally partisan and viciously political, while hiding behind their dead husbands. That means they are exploiting a tragedy for their own personal benefit. There are thousands of other 9/11 widows who do not troll the country whoring their names for publicity, money, and political favors, promoting a divisive agenda aimed at blaming Republicans.
You may not like Republicans, or maybe you do. It doesn't matter. Everyone got hit on 9/11. It wasn't the Democrats in those planes, and it wasn't the Republicans. It was Arab Moooooooslims. But the Jersey Girls (9/11 "widows") are fixated on blaming Bush and the Republicans.
If the Republicans tried to pin it on the Democrats, and there were 9/11 victims promoting that idea, wouldn't you speak out against that terrible tactic?
Oh, by the way... name some 9/11 widows which troll the country promoting books and guest appearances who favor Ann's position.
That's right. There's none even close to that level of exploitation.

She wasn't talking about all 9/11 widows......she was talking specifically about a small group of 4 of them called "The Jersey Girls".
...from Wikipedia..."The Jersey Girls or Jersey Widows is an informal description of four American activist women. They are Kristen Breitweiser, Patty Casazza, Lorie Van Auken, and Mindy Kleinberg, each, as of September 11, 2001, a resident of New Jersey and married to a man who died in the terrorist attacks that day."
The keyword is "activist".

I don't watch that much TV. But I don't remember seeing any right wing 911 widow activists. I remember seeing the left wing widows way too often. Well intended I'm sure, but letting themselves be used.
I'm really getting tired of two political parties that are no more than two sides of the same coin, constantly nit picking each other. Just one good reason not to watch too much TV.

I agree with Ann. Some of the WTC widows are using the vasts amount of money received on their husband's deaths to live a high life and to protest the President. The money Americans gave to the WTC families was not meant to make them wealthy and be used for political purposes. I think it was a mistake to give the families so much money beyond normal insurance levels (12 to 15 x annual salary) when families of soldiers are getting greatly less than that for dying to defend these vocal WTC widows' rights to bad mouth the very people who are trying to prevent another WTC.

Because that is what they are doing. The ones that she does not talk about are not seeking fame for being the widow of a 9/11 victom.

Ann Coulter is a bitter, crazed he/she. I doubt she even hears the venom spewing from her own forked tongue. Switch the channel before you get any on you! I think she attacked the 9-11 widows because they have been outspoken about their quest for answers, and she is a brownshirt, goosestepping fascist that wants everyone to swallow and follow the Bush Junta everywhere, like she does.

Because she's an extremist and a hater, and every response she gives to any question asked is based on inciting the opponet. She's real good at doing that. She doesn't care about the truth. I found it real amusing when she made the bogus claim that no one was allowed to criticize the Jersey four, and then turned right around and bashed them on national television. That was priceless. Michelle Malkin is an Ann Coulter wanna be in training.

She was trying to point out that they have gone beyond just grieving wives and they have now become people who are giving their political opinions. Once you put your opinion out there regardless if you have lost someone, your opinion is subject to objection. Democrats always use these human shields to to voice their opinions for them. They take someone who you can't argue with and then call you heartless when you argue with their opinion. Also I think that the 9/11 wives have taken their grief and distorted it into a catalyst for fame and the fame that they have gained has made them hungry for more fame, it's sad.

Ann Coulter refers to the small handfull of widows that seem the think Bush is behind everything that goes wrong in their life..,You are referring to the Jersey girls? It amazing that out of all the widows of 911 you have that very tiny handful that has discontent and hatred for the president as with all libs.Dont take on personal responsibilty..,blame it on bush. They need to get a life.
