Yes, eyes should be protected. But, I already lost what I didn't want to lose. My voice. I had neck surgery in Feb. '06 and because of that, I have a paralyzed vocal chord. It is awful because I was a singer/songwriter up to then. I have lost something dear to me. I didn't know how dear til I lost it.

I used to sometimes talk about how I hated my voice, and now I don't have it. You can hear what I used to sound like at devincaliri.com. Doctors don't know if it will ever come back.

Yes, would agree with eyes. Couldn't choose just the one thing because i'm a music man so i couldn't live without ears and hands. Obviously one more part of me too and you know what it is because us men think about a certain activity its used in every 2 or 3 minutes!

I think I would want to keep my sense of humour. You can loose many things, many senses, but if you have a sense of humour you can take it on the chin, and move on.
I'm sure there's a part of the brain that controls it. I want to keep that bit.

I would say hands. I definetly need them to answer questions like yours, and to do all the other things in life that requires me to use them. For instance, tying my shoes, feeding my daughter, cooking for my husband, scratching my nose... Etc... Great Question!!!

My brain of course. I'd hate to be a drooling mental patient or someone with alzheimer's. I can still go blind or deaf or lame but keep my dignity intact.

I would say hands.... I don't think I could live without feeling my babies, or touching my husband.

Seeing them would be great, but touching them is something that can't be replaced.
