i have been using a new medicated face wash and it works great all month long until i get ready to start. My question is, Will birth control pills help with my hormone level and reduce my breakouts?

From what i've heard, low dose b.c.pills are the answer...what youre experiencing is definately hormonal and no topical treatment will get rid of that deep cystic stuff...good luck!

It didn't help me, but there are lots of new choices in birth control now, the even have one I believe its the Orth Tri Cyclen, that has acne med in it or something. Give the doc a call he/she will be the best advisor on this.

Yes they will.

It will help with both.
I have no breakouts now.
I had none after 6 months of birth control pills.

using the right pill(therefore a pill with low levels of hormones-esp oestrogen) might alleviate your problem, i'd say -give it a shot.
