Sauna is best. If you drink plenty of water and jump in the sauna for an hour with cold showers when you are hot you will sweat out more than 80% of the alcohol, I think, and your kidneys and bladder will handle the rest. If you work hard then you sweat but you use heaps of energy so you suck vitamins and minerals into your body which will also suck more alcohol into your system and make the liver and kidneys work harder.
Reading some other things I have decided to add this.
Firstly the lungs do not get rid of more alcohol. The skin is considered to be the largest and most productive organ for ridding a body of alcohol. Secondly sauna isn't dangerous when ddrunk. If you can't walk then yse. You won't suffer from dehydration if you actually drink plenty of water, more than you are sweating out- 2 or more litres- and you can take salt and potassium to replenish the salts lost. Also vitamin B1 is fantastic as alcohol burns through it so fast. So replacing it makes the alcohol burn up more and more.

I would not recommend going to a Sauna to sweat out alcohol .
There will be a big danger of dehydration.
As for working it off , well , should you really work while alcohol is still in your body ? Is it not dangerous ?

Drinking water whilst drinking alcohol and afterwards is the best cure.

Sitting in the sauna simply relaxes your senses and gets rid of some toxins through sweating. If you want to lose body fat and love handles, it's gonna take you more effort than just spending time in sauna. Exercise is still the best way to lose unwanted fats. And one more thing, don't overdo that sauna activity, it will cause dehydration. Do drink some water afterwards.

Sweating through work is the best to get things out of your system. Working out takes things from deep in your body and you also are doing something either than sitting down letting it sweat out. Turst me, working out is a better sweat, where as sitting in a sauna will get rid of water weight but not really get rid of toxins (ie: alochol) in your body! Hope this helps!

I think sympathetic is better for getting rid of alcohol because physical activity will make it go through your system faster and out.. while just trying to make yourself sweat in a sauna may not do it fast enough.. JMO tho.

It will take up to thirty days to get rid of the alcohol in your body.
Alcohol is turned into ethyl aldehyde. About ten percent of this will be exhaled when you breathe.
The rest is processed through the liver.

Sweating will accomplish nothing as far as getting rid of alcohol.

Coffee does not get rid of alcohol; it just makes you a wide-awake drunk.

What kind of work are you doing? I would be afraid of you hurting yourself or someone else if you have alcohol in your system while using a chainsaw or something. Sauna is probably safest.
