Latin Crossovers - Better in Spanish?

Jeannie Ortega, Adassa, Fey, Marc Anthony, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez - who else can't understand a word of Spanish but still like the original Spanish versions of their songs better? Sometimes I think it gets lost in the translation!

Before I learned to speak English, I loved American songs, even if I couldn't understand 90% of them.

I agree, and I find it's always true with songs in any language.
