you may want to be careful when you go to the tanning beds because when i used to go, the place was not properly cleaning the beds and i got a bad rash on my back and the doctor said it was probably because the tanning place wasnt properly cleaning the beds. because theres so much sweat and bacteria in the beds and the heat it gives off, its an ideal place for bacteria to grow. so maybe there is some kind of bacteria in the beds that is causing your skin to break out. next time you go, bring your own antibacterial wipes and wipe the bed before you go on, it may prevent future breakouts.

Well, I used to be a tanning consultant. I can tell you that no matter what, if you stick with it, only once a week but continuously, it can definitely be beneficial to your skin. You definitely need to get a facial product form your salon. I suggest either Ct Seven Face, it can be kind of expensive unless you get it off ebay. Usually runs $45- $50. It's from CAlifornia Tan and is compared with Estee Lauder and other really famous $$$$ brands! Or if you're looking for something a little less expensive, go for X appeal face, also from CAlifornia Tan. Make sure you use a good SPF during the daytime as well. Dove has a good face lotion for only $6 with SPF 15 and its fantastic! I have noticed that when I stop tanning for more than 2 weeks, my face starts to break out again. Good Luck!

It is probably from the excessive sweating during tanning. I don't normally break out but during the summer when I am tanning I do notice a few bumps every now and then. Maybe look up a tanning lotion and see if there are any to help with this. I have never heard of any, but it is possible. Good Luck

You could be using the wrong lotion for your skin...I always like going and so does my daughter that is the only time our faces were free of pimples! But I dant go anymore cause I did it for 17 years seasonally of course but now I have patches on my face that are darker than others and I have to always were corrective make up and I have a friend my age the same way from it.she is a wrinkly as a piece of leather she went more than i did but she is only 39 and looks all of 50...all this is from the tannin bed..so please be careful...better yet shut face tanners off and just use darker makeup...cause it will ruin your face! careful okay

It definitely does not help your skin. In fact, it makes it worse. All it does is HIDE your acne. You prob broke out because you put some type of tanning lotion on your face? You are most likely allergic to it.
There's no evidence that having tanned skin helps to clear up acne. People who tan in the sun or in tanning booths or beds run the risk of developing dry, irritated, or even burned skin. They're also at increased risk of premature aging and developing skin cancer.

When I was a teenager my dermatologist used to use a sun lamp to help dry my skin. Of course, not so sure they would do so now knowing how DANGEROUS tanning is for the skin. It causes cancer and I would be much more worried about that than my skin breaking out.

The tanning mattress is worse in case you bypass distinct circumstances an afternoon day by day. Its a lot extra centred so it does do more effective harm yet i imagine thats on condition that you bypass loopy with it. i take income of to bypass once an afternoon for 20 minutes and that i have had no risky outcomes from it. My friends mom has been going for years and is high quality, heck she in basic terms offered one so she will be in a position to easily do it at abode. Its all about moderation and following the instructions. You dont look to wanna bypass on the entire and youre prepared to take saftey precausions so I evaluate youll be sturdy adequate in spite of the undeniable fact that you're making a range to bypass once a week to receive and secure your favored tan. in basic terms watch your body for alerts of a few difficulty goin on. Goodluck and that i desire ya get the outcome youre hoping for. :)

Maybe it's because of the tanning lotion you use (if any) on your face? I usually stop breaking out if I go to the tanning bed, but I make sure to not use any tanning lotion on my face whatsoever.

I used to go to tanning beds - I never noticed that problem - Maybe your going too much. I used to go every other day for about 20 min. Once I got my base tan, I would stop going. I used to go before I went on a trip or when I worked a day shift & never seen too much sunlight. Maybe you should try not going as often.

tanning beds are bad for you. I recommend you don't go anymore. I got skin cancer and have learned my lesson about tanning beds and being out in the sun. Its not good for you...trust me.
