I want to get a mp3 player but I don't know what are good ones that don't cost an arm and a leg. I am looking for ones $100 or less that I can play in my car. Can someone help me out?

I love my Ipod, but I know they're pricey. (Don't get a Ipod shuffle--its not worth it!) The only problem with an inexpensive MP3 player is that there's not alot of memory. (Although some have slots for SD cards to expland the memory, so you have to look.) I-River makes several models that are affordable and also have an FM tuner on them. RCA, Sony and Samsung make good models that are under a hundred. Check out Amaxon.com,Target or WalMart first--I think the electronics stores overcharge you for these things.

You can play any MP3 player in your car--you can buy a wireless transmitter (there are universal ones that plug into the audio jack) or most MP3 players sell kits separately.

I've heard that all MP3 players are primarily the same. The main difference is how much music each can hold! I got one from circuit city that was around $80 bucks (about 2 years ago) and i've had no problems with it at all!

I dont believe there are no good inexpensive mps players...my son has a dell one that are now selling for I believe $40.00, which when he got his I paid $120.00..it is ok, not the best. He has had to have it replaced under warrenty 2 times within a year. If you do get one I reccommend you defently get an extended warrenty.

Go to Staples, Sansa has one that is around 40.00, and holds about 8hrs of music or so, and you can get a larger chip for more memory, but those are expensive!! This one is really easy to use!!
