I live in an African country and generally African governments tend be quite corrupt. The politicians live the high life while those who vote them into these positions can barely survive. So no I don't think they should be anything.

Hell No! Look, these are the same leaders who originally aided in the sale and capture of african slaves hundreds of years ago. They don't give a shitt about their people! So they're definately SELFISH dictators that do what they do for profit.

well, most of those countries have poor track records with leaders, and power corrupts the best of people, so id have to say they are mostly in it for whatever they can steal.
