Cos there is carbon, also the glare is reduced. And tis natural, so to colour it different would increase costs.

There were a couple of tires on the market with lines in other colors on them a few years ago, but I think they pulled them off the market. And I've seen a few tractor tires in blue. But other colors never really caught on. The way I see it, there are two good reasons:

Black rubber is cheaper, at least when comparing different UV and weather resistant rubbers.

And black goes well with everything.

You can get other colors now, but as in white walls they get dirtier.
