Tuesday on the View, she said Christians were just as guilty of terrorism as the Islamic terrorists.
She forgot to mention the part where Christian leaders force young people to strap bombs on themselves and blow up innocent bystanders. She also forgot to mention the Christians who cut off peoples heads. Or the Christians who stone women to death. What do you think?

The weird thing is that the audience applauded when she said this. Do all those people actually think Christians are on the same level with people who cut off people's heads? Very odd.

Lilahfair, I wasn't asking about her freedom of speech. We all have freedom of speech. I was asking if you agree with her that Christians are on the same level as Islamic terrorists.

I'd like to know when the last time a Christian strapped on a bomb and blew up Innocent women and children.
Rosie hates Christians because the truth hurts.
Funny, she can commit hate speech, but damnation to anyone who opposes her.
Typical Liberal hypocrite

Yeah, I happened to see that portion of the show. I knew immediately that she had just created controversy. She sat next to someone who holds the complete opposite view, and extremes spewed forth.
How can this country move forward when people are polarized left and right. What ever happened to sane, rational reason in the middle. How can the country come together when there are such extremes felt by all and no one who tries to bring us together, but further polarize us?
I don't understand the views put forth here by a lot of the responders. How can someone like R.O. be viewed as an extremist of the left, and then someone else calls her a Nazi? Those are extremes of left and right. Communist vs. Nazi or liberal vs. conservative. I think a lot of folks spew words without even knowing what the words mean. A lot of it is motivated by hate and bigotry. I am not downing R.O., nor defending her. But it bothers me that people voice opinions that have no basis in fact, but are only based on emotional extremism.
How many of you have done any research, or actually used your brain for anything other than to take up space between your ears?
I bet you can't read the following because you can't read very long, or because you are already too close-minded to think for yourself or come to an educated conclusion concerning an issue.

You can't solve any problem until you first understand the problem's cause.
What is the plan here? Islamists and westerners kill each other off, so that the communists can rule the world?
All hate comes from the forces of darkness. I'm sorry to say that many times we have no choice but to chose between the lesser of two (or more) evils.
God help us and protect us.

I hope she gets fired after those comments. I hope they have so much negative publicity from everyone that they have no choice but to cancel the view altogether. That would serve them right after firing Star. She was never as controversial as Rosie. Poor Elisabeth has to be in such an awkward position. It would be so hard for someone 20 years younger than anyone else to hold her own against three liberals. I can't believe they let her say that without editing it out.

Yes I absolutely agree.
Christians are guilty of terrorism, just as the US is guilty of terrorism if you look at it from the civilian's in Iraq's point of view. Over the years the chrisrian religion has killed or outcasted many innocent people due to their skewed beliefes, and yes over time they have adapted and evolved along with everyone else and they no longer do this type of thing (publicly), But look at the world, its in turmoil because everyone, every country, every leader, doesnt wanna be christian....thats what it all comes down to in the end,

Hmmm....what about the IRA?
While America has never stoned women....they did have something called "rule of thumb"....a husband could legally beat his wife( with a stick or branch no larger than his thumb...hence the name).
Also it at one time( not too many years ago) was legal/acceptable for a man to rape his wife...I believe that changed in the 70's.

To say that only the violent acts being carried out by some Islamic extremists constitute terrorism is to have a very limited view of terrorism.
The Church is not completely innocent, and many of its actions in the past (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusades) set the stage for many atrocities taking place now.

I think that in the past, Christianity has done some things which helped give it a bad rap. Remember the Crusades or the Spanish Inquisition? There were no bombs back then, but there was plenty of needless bloodshed and murder due to religion. People were killed solely due to the fact that they weren't Christian and would not allow themselves to be forced out of their homes or converted.

While I don't necessarily agree OR disagree with her.....I think she is referring to the In-Your-Face Christians, the ones who insist on beating others over the head with their views and try to drag everyone they can kicking and screaming to the altar for baptism. I think she is talking about the Extremists we have in OUR society. These extremists that are causing a lot of problems, no matter what "side" they represent.
I'm a Christian. I happen to believe that everybody has a right to worship as they choose, and I should accept their differences, just as long as they aren't trying to kill somebody.
