Along the same lines as everybody suggesting moineral cosmetics - if you are UK based, consider trying Lily Lolo cosmetics. The website is excellent and you can great trials of practically everything in their range - all reasonably priced.

Their FAQ page says there are only two eye colours that vegans may want to avoid, but apart from that I think they would be suitable?

Anyway, add them to you (by now!) long list and have a look when you can - and have fun trying them in the name of research!

Mary Kay has been voted number 1 in skin care for 13 consecutive years. This line was one of the first to go animal free with its testing. Mary Kay was an innovative entrepreneur and has always had impeccable lines for skin care and cosmetics. This line has always had the customer well being the number one priority and all products are guaranteed. Any other line give that 100% customer satisfaction guarantee? Try it and you will see, so will your friend!

I think Mineral Powders is the way forward, I don't think they have anything in them that would be against a Vegan's beliefs, as they are natural and from the earth.

Try this website below, as they do samples of mineral powders for £1.75 and it is really nice powder, you don't even know you have it on.

You will need the finishing powder too, if you go for it, but again you can buy a sample.

A sample will last your friend enough time, to see if she really likes it. So take a look.

Hope it helps.

Burt's Bees is GREAT. They are at least 92% natural and they don't do testing with animals. They aren't too pricey either. Check out their website or stop by any health food store.
