oh i agree with you... these celebrities get waaaaaaaay too much attention and publicity. i think if any of our soldiers die, regardless if they're from our town or not should be on the front page.

i think a lot of the reason this happens is because it's an escape from reality, sometimes it's just easier for people to stick their head in the sand and pretend the world is just ducky. On the other hand Anna Nicole's son dying is just as important as a soldier it's still a death and he was still very loved.

most American people are looking at this war as another Nam and are tired of it, so instead of watching are boys die in a war that only are gov. supports. we would rather here about celebrities kids dieing than are solders. and if you know anything about Nam you know when are boys came home they were not treated as solders coming home from a war but were spit on and called baby killers and worse.

Americans have no say with what the media broadcasts....it's all the sick bastardly demented media's fault! Of course we care more about human death than stupid celebrities!

I agree, but I think most people can't handle the reality of war. They would rather be in other people's business then deal with real people dying.

Blame it on the media and people who think such news should take precedence over ugly wars that take human lives.

Yes, it's completely bizarre.

To be fair, it's not their fault. Their media isn't even telling them about most real news stories.
