We watch a lot of documentaries and it seems that most of the narrators are male. I can understand a historical documentary about the wild west or a war needing to be male but there are so many subjects that are gender neutral (such as nature programs) that it shouldn't be important to have a male voice attached to it. I usually do not hear a female narrator unless it is a woman's issue.

My guess is because men especially the ones with deep voices have an authoritative pattern to the way the sound. You kinda just listen and get lost in what they're saying because of the way they say it.

Good question... I watched the show "The X-Files" for a long time and they had several episodes where either Mulder (David Duchovny) or Scully (Gillian Anderson) did some narrating. I remember liking Mulder's narration a lot better.

I recently watched "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", in which Robert Downey Jr is the narrator, and loved it.

So I can't really explain it, but I prefer it when men narrate.

in keeping with risk the action picture gave them the belief, i assume, in spite of the undeniable fact that that is their very own stupidity in charge for unquestionably wanting to accomplish the plan. that is merely approximately like agreeing that Marylin Manson gave those little ones concepts to shoot up their college. that is heavily the comparable ingredient. I, in my view think of that persons do it on their very own no rely if some celebrity informed them to. human beings merely seek for somebody in charge. i think of if somebody might have used the excuse "each and all the teen celebs have become pregnant now so i pick to" a pair years in the past each and every physique might have laughed. each and every physique is appearing as though human beings won't be in a position to think of for themselves. all of it quite comes right down to stupidity and scarcity of morals. In Juno, she did not even pick to have a infant and she or he did not even save it. i think of that reference does not even make any experience while that is used as excuse for those 15 year previous ladies. the only ingredient that's sensible is their stupidity, loss of training on the priority, and undesirable parenting.
