read The Fountainhead. (Ayn Rand)

It is the most inspiring book on earth.

it wont show you who you are, it will show you how to find out who you are.

Don't bother with that until you celebrate the 32 birthday. Then your personality will already be defined and there is not much left that can be changed after that. There are needed a lot of "consistent" days (when the things that you regret you've done during the day, the week or the month are 0 or very reduced) to conclude the properties of your personality. But, be aware, build your personality every day, in order to find your true self in "good shape" later.

For finding your personal identity you will need to explore yourself. You can write down 3 to 5 points on each--this helps. What are your hobbies, abilities, weaknesses, achievements, successes.
What are your goals in life, how will you go about this, what are your priorities.
What makes you happy, sad, proud, afraid, angry, hurt.
If you did not have to work for a living what would you really like to do with your life.
Some of these answers will come to you at once---others will have to be explored. You can do this by taking up different activities and getting involved with living. Attach yourself to a gym, club, sports group, social cause or ngo for the marginalised. Take part in activity in your family, college, office or neighbourhood. In short---get involved.
For example----You cannot say you are charitable till you 'give' and see if it suits you. It is in 'doing' that you can check the 'being'. All this will gradually start giving you some indication of your interests, skillsets and finally "Personal Identity" . Go on--you can do it

Your own identity is going to be whatever you choose to make of yourself. Pick your goals carefully.
You can be a saint or a sinner, a winner or a loser; it is your own choice.
If you want your life to have meaning, you are going to have to put the meaning in it all by yourself.
Not trying to be insulting here, but a few sessions with a counselor would not be a bad idea.

You have already found it. Kind of like the wide receiver who has already caught the ball. You want to stand there and look at the ball. You must run with the ball or the fact that you have the ball means nothing. You will be tackled! Run!

Because you were made by God and for God, you can only know your true identity in Him

For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord,
plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you a hope and a future.

You have to find your true (personal) identity by yourself, Yahooers can't find it for you.

You have to live, think, feel, make choices and have experiences - you will define yourself.

Good luck and don't be afraid to be yourself.

Have you tried that space between the cushions and the back of the sofa? Or possibly behind the fridge?
