Yes you can keep it. There is a law called "nature's rule" which states that all animals from the wild are not owned by anyone so if anyone wants to claim them they can. As long as you feed it and don't abuse it you should be fine, its all legal.

I don't believe you actually have a Mountain Lion. A whole deer every other day is way too much meat for one ML. If it's true that you have one and that you're allowed to keep him/her, you must call a vet and have it vaccinated against all feline diseases (feline HIV, feline Leukemia, distemper, rabies). Also check your local ordinances. Most areas have dangerous animal laws putting restrictions on caging and vaccinating.

Please remember that if this animal gets loose after it's been in your care, it will be destroyed at your expense by the local and state law enforcement. Think helicopters, manpower, tranq dart, and the cost of keeping the public at large safe.

Yes you can keep it. I guess you need to go hunting year round to feed it.

Must be some mountain lion. Eating a whole deer per day. He should qualify for a world record. You will be in the paper.

I do think you should keep him in the house. Let him sleep at the foot of your bed.

If it develop right into a mountain liion it develop into not a case of incorrect id the lion went after horse flesh. A lion attack has a tendency to be distinct. The cat frequently leaps on the horses again so claw marks on the chest might want to initiate low and be torn in the direction of the whithers. because the claws are hooked the deep end of the tear if the claw stuck might want to be in the direction of the whithers. for sure if the claw did not capture ond carry then both ends might want to nicely be shallow. you will get a tetanus shot for them. yet when I save in concepts it needs to easily accept interior 24 hours for optimal effectiveness. What the classic 5 or 6 way has relies upon on what 5 or 6 way you get. make positive it has tetanus. one extra difficulty to envision is to envision on interior reach rabies stages. it really is the time of three hundred and sixty 5 days that rabies circumstances oftentimes spike. EDIT one extra difficulty. Cats have 4 ft on each and every foot (except for those relations breeds which have 5 and six) so 4 parallel claw marks. And certain you want to alert the authorities to a achieveable lion attack. it isn't unprecedented that a lion it fairly is hungry adequate to handle a horse to develop into hungry adequate to handle a human. it really is very authentic in California and different elements the position searching them isn't allowed.

A mountain lion does not eat a deer a day. Get real.

You could get fined, and put in prison. A mountain lion could kill or seriously injure someone, at your expense. Bring the thing back.

The best thing to do is to go back and get another, so that your kitty will have a playmate and won't be lonely.
They would also like to snuggle with you when you go to sleep at night.
