Time, is actually a measure of the rate of change. Without change there could be no time. You would be asking yourself to avoid natural laws, in isolation from everything else. I don't know how you would do that. Be careful what you wish for, would you really want to live forever?

Yes and No.
You could get yourself cryogenically frozen, where low temperatures will prevent your cells from metabolizing. Problem is; a) you're frozen solid, and so you are unconcious for the time you are not ageing, b) once your frozen, you're frozen for good as there have been no developments of a method to un-freeze your body and prevent tissue damage.
Another possiblity is to travel at the speed of light (Einstein's theory of Relativity). Einstein suggested that when a body approaches the speed of light, relative to an observer who is traveling at a much, much slower speed, the body will experience a slower passing of time as compared to the observer. Thus the body will age slower, relative to the observer. So, in essence, you are merely slowing time down compared to the rest of the universe. However, to achieve the speed of light is impossible, as massive amounts of energy would be required, and even if such speeds are acheived, then mass will be transformed into energy itself.

Well, you have to understand that time is essentially local, so just who's time are we talking about here.It is possible to alter your local time relative to another's by travelling very fast. Where it possible to travel at the velocity of Light then no local time would pass but two problems occur, one, you would need an infinite amount of energy and second if no local time passes then presumably you would have no experience during that time.
Far from being younger than comparative earthlings Niel Armstrong and co. are supposedly older since they didn't go fast enough to slow their local time but to another 'Relativity' effect they will be slightly older. Time slows in a gravitational field, since they were further from the earth where the field is weaker time will have passed faster.
Hope that helps PP

Yes, According to H.G. Wells, Author of the Time Machine! He latered claimed he did come back from the Future. Most people thought him crazy. Maybe he was telling the Truth! Maybe
Sigmud Freud snuck on board with him and also
came back from the Future.
Also the basis of Crionics.

Are you sure ?
I know some people look quite young even when their physical age is quite old.
That is practicality.
In science,
General Theory of Relativity (by Albert Einstein) has such interesting corollaries (or a paradox known as Twin Paradox). In that the time seems to be moving slowly for a person. But for that one has to move at nearly the speed of light which is nearly 1,86,000 miles per second. No space ships built till date come anywhere near that speed. Suppose someone moves through space (in a space ship) with speed very close to the speed of light. If he moves through space then Gravitational fields affecting him will be negligible compared to the fields that would affect people on earth. In this scenario if he or she returns to earth after 10,000 years (on earth) he would have probably aged only by say 10 years ! But present science is way far off to build such space ships. I don't think it can build such things in another 100 or 200 years.
However I know some people who look quite young in spite of their age. How do they do it ? Well ask me and I can write essays on it.

Well...physicists say "yes"....when you travel in space...time moves on but you don't grow old.
Consider 2 twins...Billy and Milly. Billy goes on a space trip when 25, milly stays on earth. After 50 years, Milly will be 75, Billy will only be 26-27(i think)...this is called twin paradox.
Niel Armstrong and co. are supposedly 3 secs younger than other earthlings.

firt of all make the definataion of age : how do you consider your age
simple example you are 24 year old how? suppose you birthdate is 1st january 1983 2am means 2nd january 1983 at 2am you would be 1year old means you consider your age with time pass
so if u have capability to not grown your cells with the help of scinece you can remain younger but your age will be definately increase

The answer must be yes - but only if you could isolate the genetic mechanisms that instructs a cell to regenerate instead of dying.

All people age with the passage of time but some people don't show their age as quickly as others. I have always looked younger than I am.

in theory this is possible if your moving at the speed of light you don't age it would seem to you that time had slowed down for you but had speed ed up for everyone else
