Do you think downloading mp3s, games or movies off the Internet is the same as stealing? Why or why not.?

Well.

I suppose it is like stealing.

But if they didn't make CDs, games, and movies SO DAMN EXPENSIVE.. people wouldn't download them anymore.

I would like to believe otherwise, but when you get down to the nitty gritty, then I suppose it is the same as stealing. It's hard to compare downloading a movie as stealing when it's not like you're walking through Blockbuster, lifting movies, but in all actuality, the companies are not receiving the monetary gain they should be when downloading occurs.

That being said, viva la internet!
